- Felt great in the store, less great in action
These shoes felt perfect in the store. I have very high arches and have a hard time finding running shoes, so I was initially quite excited. However, after wearing them a few times, they gave me the most horrible blisters on my heels.

love them!! when I put them on, i feel like i could run for hours but of course I can't... ;-))

- Great shoes!
I have been running in these shoes since June and I love them. I have a foot that's between a narrow and a medium width, and this shoe fits me just right. I have plenty of room in the "toe box" and no slipping in the heel. Plus there is plenty of cushioning. I agree with a previous reviewer in that running shoes are a personal type of item and what feels great for one person may not be great for another. But if you have worn ASICS before and you like them, I would give these a try.

- heel rubs
I have worn Asics Gel Nimbus 9's for the past 3 years. I've been running 20-25 miles a week. I bought these shoes 21 days ago. I have a terrible blister on my left heel, and noticed this morning that the inside of the shoe is already torn. The Gel Nimbus 9's would do that, but usually after about 6 months - which was when I would need to get new shoes anyway.
I'm really disappointed. I am going to try to return them today.
