A million Punk bands can't be wrong.
I've never been a big "shoe guy", but I love the old school Chuck Taylors. It's always been my favorite shoe and I always wear the black on black or the white on black Chucks. They aren't exactly the most comfortable shoes and definitely take some getting used to, but once I got used to wearing them I've been a loyal Chuck Taylor buyer ever since. They're pretty much the only casual shoe that I wear when going out because they're simple and not to sound cliche but they represent a lot of things to me. Usually when I see someone wearing Chucks I can tell that they have a laid back personality and like simplicity... or they listen to Punk Rock. When i wear jeans I've never liked high top shoes and especially the skater style shoes that are really bulky, so Chucks have always been perfect for me.
The only problems with these shoes are:
They aren't very comfortable at first and are definitely not good shoes if you're going to be walking a lot. There isn't a lot of cushion.
If you DO walk a lot (if you wear these shoes to work, for example) the bottoms of the shoes tend to wear out very quickly.
Once they get dirty, they usually stay dirty due to the material. You can clean these shoes but only to a certain extent.
Other than that, Chuck Taylors are awesome and I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone who likes simple footwear. I would also recommend that you wear these mainly for casual use and not as a primary shoe (unless you don't mind buying a new pair every couple of months, which I personally don't). Besides... for lack of a better term, they're just cool!

I bought it for a friend
As i say i bought it for a friend and he says that is great. He wasn't wait too long for it (thanks!). He got a RDV with girl, he planned to wear it at the rendez-vous. He was worry thinking will he get it at time.

Converse are 2 sizes larger than the labeled size.
Watch out, Converse are 2 sizes larger than the labeled size. We ended up giving them away, my son is size 11 and they fit his size 13 friend perfectly.

Black Monochrome Converse
Been wearing converse for years; great shoes, came just as promised in the picture and description. Cheaper, even with the shipping expenses, then in the stores where you can find all black chucks. Shoes packaged very well; shipping was ridiculously fast, had it in two days; great amazon experience!
